Our Commitment to Scouting and our Community

Friends of Brownsburg Scouting, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Brownsburg, Indiana, dedicated to supporting the mission and vision of the Boy Scouts of America within the local community. The primary goal of this organization is to assist the Boy Scouts of America in its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. This is achieved by instilling the values expressed in the Scout Oath and Law.

FoBS – Friends of Brownsburg Scouting, Inc. exists to create an environment where young individuals can develop into responsible, participating citizens and future leaders. By aligning with the values of the Scout Oath and Law, the organization aims to instill integrity, leadership skills, and a sense of community responsibility in the youth of Brownsburg. This benefits the individuals involved and contributes to the betterment of the local community as a whole.

FoBS aims to provide various forms of support to local Scout troops by ensuring the needed resources for supported units to administer a quality program for community youth and by fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for Scouts and their families. Through these efforts, FoBS plays a crucial role in advancing the ideals and goals set forth by the Boy Scouts of America within the Brownsburg, Indiana community.
